A recap of headliner performances.

This past weekend (April 15-17) the Coachella Music Festival returned back to the desert for its first set of shows after a two year break due to the pandemic.
The music festival is held over two weekends and features about 167 different artists with Harry Styles, Billie Eilish and The Weekend with Swedish House Mafia as headliners.
Friday was filled with many great performances that ranged from Phoebe Bridgers to Daniel Caesar and with Styles closing out the day.
Many people were excited to attend Style’s performance. He had just completed his U.S. tour a couple months back and recently announced the release of his new album titled “Harry's House.” Coachella is the British-singer's first ever festival and first performance after the news of the new record.
It is estimated that over 100,000 people attended the closing show.
Styles wore a custom outfit designed by Gucci creative director Alessando Michele. The outfit appeared to look like a jumpsuit but was actually a sleeveless, low V-neck top, tucked into high waisted pants and covered in rainbow sequins.
As for the performance, the set was very similar to what fans saw while on his tour. But Styles debuted two unreleased songs titled “Boyfriend” and “Late Night Talking.” He also brought out guest artist Shania Twain where together sang some of her hit songs like “You’re Still the One” and “Man! I Feel Like A Woman.”
Saturday featured performances from artists like Megan Thee Stallion and Flume. Eilish ended the day on the main stage with guest artists Khalid, Damon Albron of Gorillaz and Posdnuos.
The singer made history being the youngest performer to ever headline Coachella at just 20 years old. She is also only the fifth woman to ever headline the festival since it began. After the release of her sophomore album “Happier than Ever” in the summer of 2021, Eillish continues to make history by breaking many records like having four No. 1 hits on the Billboard alternative songs chart.
Day three of the festival included performances from artists like Doja Cat and Alec Benjamin. The Weekend and Swedish House Mafia filled in for the headline after Ye (also known as Kanye West) pulled out just two weeks before the festival.
With only two weeks to assemble a headline show, the musical artists split the set into two. Where Swedish House Mafia opened the show and had The Weekend join for a couple songs before exiting the stage and having the Canadian-singer close the show.
Overall, there were many notable highlights over the first weekend. Many fans are currently awaiting the second set of shows (April 22-24) with the same artists performing again.
